The starting point of this trekking is Gurka, Nepal historical village, origin of the former royal dynasty. No many trekker on the way. The area still remains traditional and authentic as its famous neighbor "Around Annapurna" was in the 80's. With altitude, the Hindo-Nepalese people and their symbols disappear; gompa, chorten and the mani walls herald Bouddhist villages. The Tibet border is not very distant, just the ridge on your right and many Tibetans live there. A trekking culturally very interesting in a preserved environment without forgetting its sport side.
