This trekking is the first part of the famous "Across Zanskar", but it starts from east (Padum) to west (Lamayaru). By this trek you will cross the mountain range which separates the old Zanskar kingdom from the Indus valley. The trek plays in a gorges maze, valleys, pass, hiding in its twisted loops small villages with vernacular houses. The traditions are always well anchored there with many monasteries. You will discover also the almost autarchy way of life of this welcoming people. The landscapes are always exceptional and each day reveals new ones, new colors and new difficulties. This trekking, although difficult, is never worrying. The effort is always counterbalanced by the discoveries, the landscapes and the always welcoming "jullay".
